FAQ ABOUT SERUMS:
Q: Do I still need a moisturizer, if I am using a serum?
A: Not necessarily! If your serum or SPF is moisturizing/hydrating enough, moisturizers may not be necessary! Moisturizers are still extremely beneficial to apply over the serum to seal the active ingredients in!
Q: How often should I apply serums?
A: Some serums like retinol or exfoliants may just be used at night, as it can increase your skin’s sun-sensitivity. Other ingredients like hydrating & antioxidants may be used both day and night!
Q: How do I apply a serum?
A: After you cleanse and tone your skin, allow your skin to dry completely before applying serums. Dry skin is important to prevent trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL). Once you apply your serum, moisturize as needed, and wear SPF during the day.
